Coven of Christ Ministries is an organization that is Christ centered. However, unlike other Christian organizations, the members choose to incorporate Wicca into their practices. We believe in the Lord and Lady as well. The Divine Feminine is a vital part of our practices and beliefs. Some feel the Trinity is the Father (the Lord), Son (Christ) and the Holy Spirit (the Mother).
Christ reminded the people to “Love one another as you love yourself.”
The Wiccan Rede states: “And it harm none, do what ye will.”
We feel these two statements blend very well with each other. If you do no harm to anyone, including yourself, you are acting in love.
It is sometimes a challenge to combine the two different religions. However, for our members, it seems a very natural thing to do. There are various “Christo Eclectic paths that include Christian/Christo Witchcraft/Wicca. There is no set doctrine how to blend or incorporate the beliefs of one with the other. It is totally and completely up to the individual. If you ask 100 Christian Wiccan and/or Witches what is the best way to combine these belief systems, you will undoubtedly receive 100 different answers. However, that is the beauty of this Ministry. Each member observes and worships in the way that is best for them.
The COCM family is about love and acceptance. We are all individuals. We all have our unique talents experiences. All seekers are welcome. It is understood that each person is on their own individual path and these paths are honored and respected. Each member is encouraged to study, seek and learn while walking in Love. |
